Role
What you would be doing
  • Ensure MTVH are fully compliant with all relevant statutory, regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Ensure staff performance is formally reviewed in accordance with MTVH policy and that regular one to ones are held with your staff.
  • Lead on the procurement and commercial evaluation of contracts..
  • Establish and deliver a programme of replacement works for capital renewals
  • Visit sites as required to identify and rectify issues both proactively and in emergency
  • Ensure budgets are managed, and works are completed to the correct quality
  • Be the responsible person for effective management of risk to the health and safety of customers in the homes we own relating to your remit
  • Develop and deliver MTVH’s fire safety strategy in relation to Fire Safety including our internal FRA programme delivered through our Assessors
  • Manage and challenge the contractors’ performance
  • Review terms and conditions of leases and tenancy agreements, to ensure terms and conditions are uniformed to reflect management repair liability and charging processes.
  • Ensure that all responsive repairs to fire equipment are carried out promptly to a high standard.
  • Have oversight and co-ordinate with technical professionals to make commercial decisions about out of scope works, based upon contractor / consultant reports.
  • Ensure 3rd party stakeholders who are responsible for providing MTVH with FRAs, or responsible for FRA remedial works are compliant
