- Lead safety orientations for new employees and subcontractors
- Assist in maintaining up-to-date employee training and certification records
- Verify proper use of PPE, fall protection, ladders, scaffolds, and confined space procedures
- Liaise with project managers, foremen, and office staff to coordinate safety initiatives
- Conduct routine site inspections at multiple job locations to identify and correct unsafe behaviors or conditions
- Promote engagement and accountability in all safety efforts
- Ensure adherence to OSHA, NFPA, and Ackerman Plumbing safety policies
- Identify opportunities for hazard reduction and process improvement
- Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action plans
- Conduct regular toolbox talks and safety refreshers on topics including hazard communication, lockout/tagout, and equipment operation
- Communicate safety expectations and updates clearly across all field teams
- Respond promptly to incidents, near misses, and unsafe conditions
- Support the Safety Manager in implementing company-wide safety initiatives
- Partner with superintendents and field leaders to implement and enforce safety standards
- Maintain accurate safety documentation and submit reports to management as required

- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

- OSHA 510/500 or CHST certification (preferred)
- OSHA 30-Hour Construction Certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree in occupational safety, Construction Management, or related field preferred
- Ability to lead safety meetings and engage field personnel
- 2–4 years of experience in construction safety supervision, preferably in commercial or industrial environments
- First Aid/CPR certification (required)
