  • Undertaking and reporting on Security Risk and Threat Assessments (SRTAs) for a variety of federal and local government agencies and clients
  • Project Management and delivery of project solutions to program and budget
  • Providing high quality, creative, value-added detailed design solutions that fit the needs of our clients and communities. In particular, you will be designing:

Integrated Electronic Access Control, Security and Building Management Systems

IP based integrated Closed Circuit Tele-Vison (CCTV) and Video Analytics Systems

Long-range and short-range Radar Detection Systems

Electronic Security Systems including High Security Type 1A Alarm Systems

Communications and Electronic Security Networks

  • Building and maintaining trust based, long term professional relationships with clients across all levels

  • IP based integrated Closed Circuit Tele-Vison (CCTV) and Video Analytics Systems
  • Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues concisely
  • Eligibility for Commonwealth Government Security Clearance (essential) – GHD will support the application process
  • Security Risk Management degree/diploma (preferred)
  • Recent working experience with Govt Agencies, especially Correctional Facilities and Defence (highly regarded)
  • Electronic Security Systems including High Security Type 1A Alarm Systems
  • Chartered Professional Engineer (CPEng) / Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ) (preferred)
  • Bachelor of Engineering Electrical, Communications or Mechatronic (preferred)
  • Integrated Electronic Access Control, Security and Building Management Systems
  • Demonstrated, recent experience in the security environment (essential)
  • Eligibility to obtain Security Licence (essential)
