Tasks

-Foster effective communication within the team to enhance efficiency and cultivate a collaborative, supportive, and empowered team environment. -Develop and communicate ITPs, Quality Checks, SWMS, and Risk Assessments. -Lead and communicate with your crew on project requirements, key deliverables, and drive performance beyond compliance. -Pre-plan and review new projects ensuring all details are accurate before scheduling. -Plan, coordinate, and manage materials, ensuring projects stay under budget. -Manage the department's vehicle, plant, and machinery, including pre-starts and maintenance. -Promote a safety-first culture, identifying all quality and environmental hazards and risks. -Guide and develop your team, focusing on performance and growth.

What You Bring

-Valid Driver’s Licence - HR Licence (highly regarded but not mandatory) -Supervisory experience in Asphalt Paving or Civil Construction -Valid plant competencies for Asphalt Paving (Pavers, Roller, Bobcat etc.) -Red/White Construction Card -Strong asphalting experience -Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel -First Aid qualification -Strong verbal and written communication skills
