- Degree in Environmental Sciences or Engineering related discipline: for exampke Environmental Geoscience, Environmental Engineering or Civil, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with focus on Environment related work.
- Has the ability to deliver on commitments on time and at the right quality.
- Masters degree in Environmental Science or Engineering related discipline (or similar subject) desirable with focus on Environment.
- Has confidence to ask questions to understand objectives and expectations.
- Has the ability to use your initiative and be self-motivated.
- Data presentation in range of software products including MS Office applications, gNIT, Openground, AutoCAD, QGIS/ArcGIS would be advantageuous.
- Experience in understanding ground conditions, preferably Phase1 geo-environmental (land contamination) desk study assessments and Phase 2 contaminated land risk assessments, data interpretation and reporting.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Is able to effectively manage time.
- Has the ability to work to a defined budget and timescales.
- Has self-awareness and understands own limitations.
- Can build rapport and relationships with peers.
- Experience working with Environmental Consultancy or any other company conducting Environmental Site Assessments and Contaminated Land Remediation.
- Has excellent communication skills.
- Has the ability to learn quickly and be adaptable to change.
- Has a strong work ethic.
- Has the ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
