Supervision of 2 or 3 junior engineers / engineering interns / technologists
Formulate development and rehabilitation programs and recommend project concepts to the client, community, and funding agencies

Manage projects and clients from conceptual design to final completion
Design and analyze existing building components, including consideration of upgrades and improvements to meet client and community needs
Preparation of project drawings and specifications, including coordination of sub-consultants as required

Site investigation and evaluation of existing building structures and infrastructure, including coordination of sub-consultant services as required

Civil Engineering Degree from an accredited university – Preference may be given for those candidates with completed courses in Building Science.
Previous knowledge of Canada’s history with Indigenous peoples, the TRC Calls to Action, and the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (UNDRIP) is considered an asset

Able to interact professionally with all levels of business personnel and build strong working relationships
Team player with ability to work independently with minimum direction
5 - 10 years' of consulting engineering experience
Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships with all stakeholders
Strong attention to detail and produce error free, high-quality work
Ability to conceptualize design with an understanding of constructability
Registered as a P.Eng with the Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC), or eligible for registration.
Previous knowledge and application of design thinking and systems thinking frameworks is considered an asset
