IFRS Accounting Manager

As the International Financial Reporting Standards Accounting Manager, you will leverage your expertise to develop the Company’s accounting policies, perform technical accounting assessments, and prepare financial statements in compliance with IFRS. This role plays a critical part in delivering accurate financial information, supporting strategic decision-making, and driving continuous improvement across finance operations to drive alignment to IFRS standards. This individual contributor role offers the opportunity to influence financial strategy and lead a high-impact transformation project.

• Coordinate and deliver quarterly reporting packages to investors under IFRS.
• Ensure alignment of accounting policies across the portfolio with investor expectations.
• Review and implement best practice accounting procedures and internal controls.
• Leverage systems and technology to enhance process and control effectiveness.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting queries.
• Prepare and lead the review of IFRS-compliant financial statements.
• Investigate new accounting standards and document technical positions.
• Assess key accounting issues, estimates, and judgments under IFRS.
• Prepare and maintain annual and half-year auditor interfirm reporting packages.
• Manage day-to-day relationships with external auditors and review outputs.
• Drive automation and efficiency in financial reporting processes.
• Oversee monthly IFRS consolidation, including adjustments and reconciliations.
• Communicate financial insights and technical updates to senior leadership and audit committee.

• CA and/or CPA designation.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills.
• Experience leading transformational projects and change management
• Experience in Renewable Energy or Power & Utilities sectors.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in IFRS accounting and consolidation.
• Familiarity with Sage X3 and BlackLine systems.
• High-level technical knowledge of IFRS standards (e.g., IFRS 9, 15, 16).
