Senior Systems Engineer

Description

• Manage and promptly resolve project issues.
• Be accountable for the team’s performance in achieving schedule, quality and budget targets.
• Design and deliver technical solutions that meet the requirements and scope of the project.
• Manage changes to the technical outcomes of the project.
• Identify and mitigate technical risk, escalating high risk items to management.
• Lead a technical team through ongoing mentoring and development.

Requirements

• Strong Siemens TIA Portal PLC experience is essential for this role.
• You will have an appropriate Electrical Engineering qualification combined with verifiable industry experience within the Water Infrastructure, Road Transport and Rail sectors.
• You will have previous experience leading and mentoring staff within an engineering environment.
• You will have demonstrable knowledge of good engineering practices and principles.
• Candidates with excellent communications skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders to elicit and understand their requirements to deliver a high-quality service, will be highly regarded.
