The Technical Inspection Team Lead will head a team of inspectors who perform annual storage‑rack inspections across a large portfolio of retail and warehouse facilities in the United States. The role blends program management, onsite inspections, quality monitoring, and training delivery, and requires frequent travel both locally and nationwide.
Key duties include scheduling inspections, documenting findings with photographs and detailed notes, preparing comprehensive reports, and working with store managers and maintenance teams to resolve identified deficiencies. The position also drives internal quality‑control processes, economic service delivery, and the adoption of digital tools to enhance inspection efficiency.
- Lead and coordinate a regional/national team of technical inspectors for storage racking inspections.
- Schedule and oversee annual inspections of retail and warehouse racking systems nationwide.
- Document inspection findings with photographs and detailed notes; produce comprehensive reports.
- Collaborate with store managers and maintenance teams to remediate identified deficiencies.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Utilize digital tools to improve inspection efficiency and reporting accuracy.
- Conduct facility condition assessments for additional asset classes as required.
- Develop and deliver project delivery best practices and team training.
- Manage internal quality control processes to optimize client experience.
- Oversee economic delivery of services within approved project financials.
- Apply knowledge of safety standards for storage racks, shelving systems, and structural steel.
