The Community Manager role is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract based at Victoria House, reporting to the Site Director. This position is responsible for ensuring the venue runs smoothly, providing exceptional amenities, and acting as the primary liaison for tenant issues and event coordination.
Key duties include promptly addressing tenant concerns, collaborating with the building management company, and facilitating event bookings to maintain high delivery standards. The postholder must proactively identify potential issues, develop and communicate standard operating procedures, and ensure clear expectations for all stakeholders.
The role requires strong written and verbal communication, the ability to build relationships with internal and external parties, and a commitment to outstanding customer service. Candidates should demonstrate MAPP's values—avoid ambiguity, be appreciative, adventurous, authentic, and accountable—while managing compliance, hard services and contractor performance.
Applicants need experience in a similar community‑management role, proficiency with Microsoft Office and Riskwise, and an IOSH certification is desirable. Working hours are 9 am‑6 pm, Monday‑Friday, with a salary of £40,000‑£42,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
We are MAPP … we are an adventurous, curious and outward-looking team of around 650+ people who are on a mission to do something a little bit special together. Since the day we got going in 1998 we knew things needed shaking up in the world of property management. So we got stuck in with a heavy emphasis on being curious and finding out exactly what our clients really needed and then focused everything on delivering a tailored service that was best in sector. Unlike most of our competitors, we kept our focus narrow and decided that this is all we would do. You see generalists are good but specialists are better. It seemed to work and we now manage over £30bn worth of commercial property up and down the land, looking after 9,500+ units on behalf of our clients which include Funds, REITS, Trusts and Investment Managers backed by Private Equity.
