- Ensures application stability, data integrity, policy adherence, and that the quality and timeliness of resolution for application issues and operational activities are met within service level agreements and within business expectation
- Manages monitoring and measurement capability for the performance of the IT services portfolio and drives quality into product design and build to ensure system stability and effective operations
- Enforces standards, best practices, and governance for integration of complex systems
- Engages business stakeholders and level sets business expectation by communicating certain business outcomes and escalations
- Reviews and ensures deliverables meet proper standards and requirements traceability from software development lifecycle and technology platform deployment and maintenance lifecycle
- Establishes performance expectations, monitors and analyzes MSP performance metrics (productivity and quality) to recommend process improvements that align with defined business strategy
- A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.
- Collaborates with cross-functional organizations to ensure technical project scope includes IT engineering services needed for successful transition and architectural alignment into operations
- Supports the Managed Service Provider (MSP) Engineering Services team to ensure that products built are free of flaws, function as designed, follow design standards, and leverage existing and new technologies optimally and effectively

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering or other related fields.
- One or more years of experience as a technical lead performing one or more of the following: implementing long-term strategies and engineering design.
- Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.
- Experience supporting Managed Service Provider (MSP) operations.
- Experience supporting application portfolio of large utility organizations, preferably Customer Service domains.
- Two or more years of aligning solution architecture with business requirements, and designing and developing models within an enterprise environment.
- Three or more years of technical experience in development & maintenance of IT systems covering various leading-edge technologies (SAP S4/C4, OpenText Exstream, OpenText xECM, Itron Openway Itron MDMS, Itron MDUS).
- Seven or more years of experience with IT systems management, software development lifecycle, and infrastructure management.
- This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
