
Create PO Req’s to order tools and supplies.
Research assembly techniques, equipment, systems, and/or products.
Assist in the design, fabrication, and verification of production and prototype fixtures, jigs, and simple machines. Train operators on the use of fixtures, jigs, and simple machines.
Utilize Excel, Word, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint to effectively communicate information to stakeholders.
Assist with development of final assembly processes, coordinate with different departments, and be actively involved during the early assembly processes at all locations.
Act as the Engineering representative on the Final Assembly Continuous Improvement Teams driving Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity through proven Lean Manufacturing principles.
Create/update MWI's and JDAAT programs, including labelling and final packaging.
If issue is cross-departmental, you document and effectively communicate it to the appropriate stakeholder(s).
Directly support Manufacturing and Factory Automation Engineers, and other departments as requested, including coordination of prototype jobs and resources.
Assist with the development of labor standards, perform time studies and line balancing activities.
Support all efforts in maintaining ISO 9001 certifications.
Review and assist with all assembly line layout activities, including but not limited to: identifying waste, recommending improvements, implementing improvements and all physical equipment and bench moves.
Maintain necessary product records and documentation.
Support the installation, setup, wiring, programming, documentation, training, and maintenance of assembly and automation equipment (including but not limited to assembly build fixtures, torque tools, conveyor lines, PLCs, robots, etc.).
Provide technical support to production teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues pertaining to assembly tools, equipment, processes, and products during manufacturing.
AS in Mechatronics, Electronics or a two-year technical diploma, equivalent military certification or equivalent experience.
Basic experience and ability to learn and utilize complex robot features (Fanuc/UR Robot).
Understanding of manufacturing processes and electronic components.
Ability to read advanced engineering documents, e.g., schematics or diagrams.
Possess an understanding of programmable logic controllers, networks, sensors/scanners/cameras, and configuring I/O devices for tying automated systems together.
Factory floor support, computer vision, any type of robotic programing, mind-set to fix issues/troubleshoot of factory floor.
Metatarsal shoes needed on Day 1.
Basic understanding and Ability to learn Studio 5000 and ladder logic for PLC controls.
Ability to assemble and disassemble products, including prototypes.
Ability to research, tabulate, and summarize data.
Know/Participation in PFMEA review.
Ability to train or direct other technicians and operators.

Hands-on experience troubleshooting to identify root cause.
Top 3 skillsets: Troubleshooting, hand soldering, PLC programming, robotics, experience with Fanuc robotics.
Ability to perform intermediate mechanical work.
Ability to take initiative to resolve issues quickly and effectively with little or no supervision.
Possess effective written and verbal communication skills, enabling correspondence with internal departments, vendors, and customers.
Ability to use manufacturing systems, e.g., ERP, Agile, EMES.
Ability to comprehend and use product/process component datasheets.
Minimum 3 years of related experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering is required; 7 or more years of related experience is preferred.
1st Shift: 6 AM – 2 PM (metatarsal shoes needed on day 1)
