The Compliance & Pre‑Tenancy Manager oversees Pre‑Tenancy Administrators and Compliance Co‑Ordinators to ensure consistent landlord, property and contractor compliance across the managed portfolio, aiming to reduce offer‑to‑move‑in cycle time and void periods through proactive administration. The role provides operational leadership, monitors key risks, escalates issues to the Head of Compliance & Pre‑Tenancy, and works closely with stakeholders to maintain alignment with the RL function and governance frameworks.
- Recruit, develop and manage a team of Compliance Co‑Ordinators and Pre‑Tenancy Administrators.
- Create and maintain performance scoreboards to drive results.
- Conduct pipeline calls to align with RL function and streamline pre‑tenancy cycles.
- Ensure all contractor, landlord and property certifications (PI, SLAs, Gas, EPC, EICR, etc.) are current.
- Monitor and drive key performance and risk indicators.
- Deliver training, coaching and workshops to enhance team knowledge.
- Report compliance breaches and escalate significant risks.
- Support audit preparation and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Team Leadership: coach, supervise and motivate administrators.
- Risk Awareness: identify, monitor and escalate compliance risks.
- Communication: clearly report issues to the Head of Compliance & Pre‑Tenancy.
- Problem‑Solving: resolve operational compliance challenges.

Benefits
The position offers a total earnings package of £40,000 OTE per year and a full‑time schedule of 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday work compensated by time‑off‑in‑lieu.
