The Community Manager for an Active Adult community oversees daily operations, ensuring resident satisfaction, strong financial performance and regulatory compliance. The role serves as the primary liaison among ownership, residents and the on-site team, leads staff, and cultivates an inclusive environment for adults age 55 +. Responsibilities include budgeting, leasing, maintenance coordination, and compliance with Fair Housing, ADA, FCRA and other housing laws.
Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Real Estate or a related field and have four to six years of property-management, sales, marketing and customer-service experience. Required skills include team leadership, conflict resolution, financial reporting, and proficiency with property-management software such as Entrata, Yardi or OneSite. Licenses, a valid driver’s license for on-site vehicles, and the ability to lift up to 20 lb independently (50 lb with assistance) are also required.
