The Surveyor role will undertake valuations and reporting with a key responsibility for valuation report writing (particularly for core assets). On more complex assignments, they will work with oversight and support from senior colleagues. They will also collaborate with other members of the team in London and Hyderabad to ensure high quality valuations are delivered to clients and drive operational efficiency.
- Gather and share relevant market intelligence and support senior members of the team with other value-add tasks.
- Select appropriate comparables, performing analysis, and drawing conclusions.
- Conduct physical property inspections and assist senior valuers in other, more complex inspections.
- Support senior members of the team with business development, RFPs and pitch activities.
- Preparation of reports.
- Conduct valuation and advisory work, alongside senior members of the team, for accounting and fund reporting purposes.
- Close liaison with clients ensuring high quality advice is consistently delivered.
- Manage opportunity records up to execution
- Perform valuation modelling (including DCF modelling), calculations and analysis and support for senior valuers on more complex valuations. Set up properties, units and tenants when required.
- Identify and incorporate relevant data and technical reports into property due diligence and review changes to valuation data.
- Work flexibly across sectors and services within the Division and support other Divisions as and when required.
- Collaborate with members of the London and Hyderabad Valuation team on the valuation process

- Good analytical skills with high attention to detail
- Valid UK driving licence.
- Complete ‘activate’ set up in TOPS2.
- Enjoys working under pressure in a fast paced, dynamic environment,
- Basic understanding of property market trends and factors influencing property values
- Knowledge of property valuation methodologies and techniques
- Willingness to learn and develop professional skills
- Proficiency in using valuation software and tools, such as Argus Enterprise & Developer and Excel
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling the development of good relationships with both clients and colleagues
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Real Estate, Surveying, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of relevant regulations and standards in property valuation
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and support senior valuers, but is also able to operate autonomously in an efficient and productive manner
- Ability to prioritise and coordinate tasks efficiently ensuring all deadlines are met
- QRM compliance.
- MRICS qualified or equivalent
