Global consultancy delivering advisory, technology & managed services to commercial and government clients.
Guidehouse integrates public and commercial sector strategies to help federal health, benefits, and human services agencies achieve their missions efficiently and with lasting impact. The internship program showcases Guidehouse’s culture by staffing interns on real‑world consulting projects, pairing each intern with a Buddy for guidance, and providing meaningful client deliverables.
The Summer 2026 internship runs for ten weeks from Monday, June 8 to Friday, August 14. Participants engage in both e‑learning and instructor‑led development sessions, receive mid‑point and final evaluations, and take part in corporate social responsibility events, networking activities, and an intern speaker series.
Interns support clients by improving business processes, internal controls, operating efficiency, transparency, performance management, and compliance with federal regulations. Projects are fluid, requiring self‑motivated individuals to develop solutions independently or within highly skilled teams, and interns gain exposure to senior management and enhance technical, business development, client service, and people‑development skills.
During the assignment, interns assist in creating client deliverables, internal and client presentations, and handling day‑to‑day project logistics. The role spans a variety of functions, including strategy, process improvement, analytics, accounting, information technology, communications, and project management.
Applicants must be U.S. citizens able to obtain a Public Trust clearance, enrolled in an accredited bachelor's (or graduate) program through Fall 2026 and graduating by Summer 2027, and willing to work on‑site in Washington, D.C. or Atlanta. Preferred qualifications include majors such as Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, Health Policy, Management/Information Systems, Public Health, Public Policy, or related STEM fields, as well as analytical and project‑management skills.
