Description

• Support site teams with day-to-day HSEQ matters and provide practical advice.
• Contribute to toolbox talks, safety alerts, and learning communications.
• Help monitor and report on HSEQ performance, trends, and KPIs.
• Support the development and review of risk assessments and method statements.
• Promote occupational health, safety, and environmental awareness across projects.
• Assist with site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.

Requirements

We’re seeking a proactive HSEQ Advisor to support the delivery of water infrastructure and civil engineering projects. Reporting to the Head of HSEQ, you’ll assist project and site teams in maintaining high standards of health, safety, environment, and quality, ensuring compliance with company systems and current legislation. This is an excellent opportunity for a developing HSEQ professional to gain hands-on experience across a variety of site operations.

• IOSH or Associate IEMA membership.
• Around 1–3 years’ experience in HSEQ within civil engineering, utilities, or construction.
• CSCS Safety Professional card (preferred).
• Good understanding of HSEQ principles, legislation, and best practice.
• Strong communication and reporting skills.
• Confident using Microsoft Office and digital reporting tools.
• NEBOSH General Certificate (or working towards).
• Previous experience on water or infrastructure frameworks.
