Install assemblies, such as flashing, pipes, tubes, heating and air conditioning ducts, furnace casings, rain gutters, and down spouts, in supportive frameworks.

Fasten seams and joints together with welds, bolts, cement, rivets, solder, caulks, metal drive clips, and bonds in order to assemble components into products or to repair sheet metal items.
Responsible for safe operation and maintenance of company equipment as well as monitoring the use and timely return of rented equipment.
Submit daily job progress reports to supervisors as required.
Fabricate, assemble, install, and repair sheet metal products and equipment, such as ducts, control boxes, drainpipes, and furnace casings. Work may involve any of the following: setting up and operating fabricating machines to cut, bend, and straighten sheet metal; shaping metal over anvils, blocks, or forms using hammer operating soldering and welding equipment to join sheet metal parts, inspecting, assembling, and smoothing seams and joints of burred surfaces.
Fabricate or later parts at construction sites, using shears, hammers, punches and drills.
Drill and punch holes in metal for screws, bolts and rivets.
Maneuver completed units and ducts into position for installation and anchor the units.
Support the total quality effort. Identify and respond to the needs of internal and external customers 100% of the time.
Maintain equipment, making repairs and modifications when necessary.
Responsible for maintaining knowledge of local/national codes and industry standards. Ensure that all necessary inspections are made through all phases of work.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds frequently and 100 pounds occasionally.
Knowledge of all tools, equipment and skills necessary for the complete installation of projects common to the HVAC sheet metal industry.
