As the Electrical Superintendent, you will oversee day-to-day site activities and support our electrical team in delivering safe, high-quality work in line with EnerMech's standards. This hands-on role includes the installation and testing of high-voltage and fibre optic cabling, while coordinating with engineering and leadership teams to ensure operational excellence.

  • Providing direction and mentorship to trades assistants and apprentices.
  • Maintaining equipment in good working order.
  • Preparing and submitting purchase requisitions.
  • On-site removal, installation, and fabrication works (both site and workshop-based).
  • Working within EnerMech's Financial and Non-Financial Delegation Authority Matrix
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for efficiency and quality benefits.
  • Regular attendance and participation in safety and toolbox meetings.
  • Performing minor civil remediation and quality assurance verification.

You're an experienced and safety-focused trades professional who thrives in a dynamic project environment. You take pride in leading by example, supporting your team, and delivering work to the highest standards.

  • Demonstrated experience in industrial site or maintenance work - preferably within the Oil & Gas or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong commitment to workplace safety and compliance with all procedures and PPE requirements.
  • Good communication skills
  • National Construction Card - White Card.
  • Trade Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering (Fitting & Machining) or relevant trade qualification.
  • Working at Hights, Forklift and Confined Space - desirable
  • Valid Australian Driver's Licence (Car or Heavy Rigid).
  • Ability to operate engineering machinery, hand, power, and measuring tools.
  • Police Clearance
