SENIOR ESTIMATOR – PRE-CONSTRUCTION
The Senior Estimator plays a key role in our Pre-Construction team by delivering accurate, strategic, and competitive estimates that set our projects up for success. You will lead the estimating process from concept through proposal, partnering closely with project stakeholders, engineers, and executive leadership. This role requires strong analytical skills, deep mechanical construction knowledge, and the ability to build meaningful relationships with internal teams and industry partners. - Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Familiarity with pre-construction workflows, proposal development, and value engineering
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
- Ability to develop accurate conceptual, budgetary, and detailed estimates
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-focused environment
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred
- Ability to lead estimate reviews and present findings to leadership
- Strong understanding of drawings, specifications, and contract documents
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, construction methods, and project sequencing
- Proficiency with estimating software and digital takeoff tools
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple estimates with competing deadlines
- High attention to detail with a commitment to accuracy and quality
- 7+ years of experience estimating mechanical construction projects
- Strong relationship-building skills with vendors, subcontractors, and internal teams
- Experience estimating HVAC, plumbing, piping, and/or mechanical systems
