Utility Locators locate underground utilities using maps, GIS data, and electronic equipment, mark them with flags or paint, take photographs, and prepare detailed reports, forms, and memos. They also investigate damage incidents, document findings, and ensure all paperwork is completed accurately.
The firm is hiring full‑time Utility Locators who will independently service their assigned areas while receiving support from the company. Candidates must have at least two years of locator experience, a valid driver’s license, and be able to travel extensively (75%+). The role includes on‑call rotation, use of a cell‑phone app for documenting locations, and adherence to 811 dig laws.
