A global engineering & nuclear services firm delivering end‑to‑end infrastructure and energy solutions.
In this role you will design and develop tunnel safety solutions, liaise with clients, stakeholders and internal disciplines, and be responsible for producing, checking and certifying designs, documents and reports prior to approval.
You will ensure projects are delivered within budget, programme, technical standards and legal requirements, proactively manage project and commercial risk in collaboration with Project and Technical Delivery Leads, and maintain compliance with health & safety, environmental legislation and in‑house quality assurance processes.
Site attendance will involve witnessing installations and testing, conducting general and principal inspections, and working closely with delivery leads on planning, programming and pricing of proposals and deliverables.
You will mentor and upskill junior staff, helping them progress toward professional qualifications, and contribute to a collaborative environment with internal and external partners on integrated highway technology projects.
The ideal candidate has proven technical capability in the design, operation or delivery of tunnel systems—including electrical, mechanical, fire life safety, communications and control systems—supported by a degree in electrical/electronic engineering or a related discipline and preferably professional registration.

Strong problem‑solving, communication and leadership skills are essential, together with experience leading single or multi‑disciplinary projects and preparing and checking reports and drawings for transport studies, designs or construction.
