The Project Coordinator provides technical and administrative support to the Project Management team for optical and low‑voltage infrastructure projects. This role is essential for schedule control, cost verification, reporting, and project closeout across multiple active construction sites.
The coordinator interfaces daily with project managers, field supervisors, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project execution. Responsibilities include maintaining and updating schedules, tracking material deliveries and installation progress, preparing weekly production and performance updates, reviewing test results, supporting change order tracking, and coordinating execution calendars through closeout. The role also validates labor and material costs, assists with safety, quality assurance, and labor forecasting audits, and provides documentation for weekly and monthly status reports.
- Interface daily with Project Managers, Field Supervisors, Engineers, and subcontractors to support optical infrastructure project execution
- Maintain and update project schedules, work plans, and resource allocations to ensure milestone and delivery compliance
- Coordinate and track material deliveries, installation progress, and customer acceptance milestones
- Prepare, coordinate, and distribute weekly production, schedule, and performance updates
- Review, upload, and track test results and certifications in coordination with the Testing Administrator (daily)
- Support project engineering functions including change order (CO) tracking, subcontractor coordination, and schedule revisions
- Coordinate with Project Management and Field Leads/Superintendents to develop and maintain project execution calendars through closeout
- Track and validate labor, material, subcontractor, and miscellaneous costs to support monthly program cost reporting
- Support safety, quality assurance, labor forecasting, and production reporting audits
- Provide all required documentation and inputs for Weekly and Monthly Project Status Reports
- Support project closeout activities including documentation turnover, testing packages, and final reporting

Successful candidates are highly organized, self‑directed, and capable of supporting multiple concurrent projects. They possess strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can read and interpret optical, low‑voltage, and construction drawings. Strong customer‑facing skills, the ability to work independently, and reliable attendance in a fast‑paced construction environment are required.
A high school diploma or GED is required, while a bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is preferred. Experience in construction, telecom, fiber optic, or low‑voltage infrastructure projects is advantageous, as is familiarity with fiber optic testing, Bluebeam Revu, Primavera P6, and advanced Microsoft Office applications including Excel and MS Project.

- Reliable attendance and the ability to work in a fast-paced construction environment
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred
- Experience supporting construction, telecom, fiber optic, or low-voltage infrastructure projects preferred
- Familiarity with fiber optic testing, documentation, and installation workflows is a plus
- Preferred experience with Bluebeam Revu
- Preferred experience with Primavera P6
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel (advanced), Word, and MS Project
- Must meet company minimum driving requirements
