Special Projects Team Lead - Facilities Maintenance

Description

• Review project estimates, schedules, and documentation for accuracy and consistency
• Collaborate with leadership to refine processes and implement best practices
• Assign projects, balance workloads, and monitor performance
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Project Specialists
• Troubleshoot basic system issues and escalate as needed
• Stay current on system updates and process changes to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Maintain data integrity across systems, ensuring accurate entry and updates
• Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
• Ensure consistent communication and service standards across all projects
• Monitor project KPIs and identify opportunities for improvement
• Manage escalated issues and complex stakeholder coordination
• Conduct regular team check-ins, coaching sessions, and performance evaluations
• Support Project Specialists in maintaining strong client relationships
• Foster a collaborative and accountable team culture
• Occasional travel, conducting site visits, client engagement, and project validation as needed
• Analyze team performance and project data to drive continuous improvement
• Perform daily tasks using Fexa, Avetta, Corrigo, Coupa and related service platforms
• Support cross-functional coordination with estimating, procurement, and field operations teams
• Identify workflow efficiencies, share best practices, and implement improvements across the project team

Requirements

• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
• Strong understanding of construction workflows, estimating, and scheduling
• Proficiency with CMMS and project tracking tools (e.g., Fexa, ServiceChannel, Corrigo, Coupa, Procore)
• 2+ years of experience in a supervisory or team leadership role
• 5+ years of experience in commercial construction project management
• PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
