You are responsible for the assembly of complex wiring layouts on electric units, the setup of testing systems, and preparation of panels for shipment.
As an Electrical Assembler, your responsibilities include the assembly of electrical components into a control panel for industrial processes.
The person in this position needs to frequently move about the shop to access equipment and complete tasks.
Create documentation related to panel wiring and layout.
Record changes on engineering documentation.
Inspect wiring installations, assemblies, and other electrical components
Perform complex wiring and assembly operations on assemblies and sub-assemblies
Use power tools in a safe manner
Occasionally lift and move equipment up to 100lbs in a safe manner.
Completes the control panel build using prints, drawings, point to point wire lists, and customer specifications with assistance.
Adheres to all production procedures to include health and safety regulations.
Other duties include quality control, shipping/receiving, and assisting with procurement.

Certification or degree related to working with electrical systems is a plus.
Prior experience assembling electrical components into electrical control boxes, enclosures, and large control panels for industrial machinery.

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Must be able to remain in a stationary position as necessary to complete assigned tasks.
A minimum of 2 years of experience working in electrical wiring or installation field.
Display attention to detail and basic problem solving skills.
Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics.
CAD drafting experience is a plus, but not required.
Ability to move around the shop which includes walking, kneeling, sitting, standing, climbing stairs and/or ladders.
Ability to correctly, effectively, and safely use basic hand tools and power tools.
