Part Time Warehouse Associate

Description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for handling incoming and outgoing materials, organizing inventory, and maintaining a safe, efficient warehouse. This role supports shipping, receiving, and daily inventory needs for installation and service teams, ensuring products are prepared for appointments and delivered to various company locations.

• Receive and unload incoming shipments of windows, doors, and bath products.
• Pull and prepare products for upcoming installations and service appointments.
• Coordinate shipment of merchandise to various company locations.
• Safely operate forklifts, reach trucks, and other material‑handling equipment.
• Record, track, and update product information in the inventory management system.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Verify quantities and document any shortages or damages for received, distributed, or shipped products.
• Assist with daily cycle counts and year‑end physical inventory audits.
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and packaging of all products and materials.
• Oversee loading, unloading, and movement of materials by hand or equipment.
• Pick, stage, and ship items in accordance with company standards.
• Prioritize safety by following policies, reporting accidents, and conducting equipment inspections.
• Maintain accurate shipping documentation, including manifests and packing lists.
• Adhere to fleet safety requirements and keep company vehicles clean and compliant.
• Deliver materials to job sites and company locations as needed.

Requirements

The position involves standing, walking, bending, reaching, and occasional lifting of items up to 50‑75 lb. Employees may work indoors or outdoors in varying conditions, operate forklifts and other material‑handling equipment, and must be able to work at heights or in confined spaces when required.

• Operate material‑handling equipment; forklift certification is a plus.
• Use basic computer skills and inventory systems; proficient in Microsoft Office 365.
• Demonstrate strong attention to detail, organizational and communication skills.
• Follow written and verbal instructions; work independently and solve problems.
• Reliable, team‑oriented, and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Possess a valid driver’s license and ability to work at heights or in confined spaces.
