As Transport Manager, you will be responsible for leading the company's transport function. You will oversee fleet compliance, driver management, and route planning to deliver a safe, efficient, and cost-effective service.

  • Managing vehicle maintenance, inspections, and operator's licence compliance.
  • Leading, developing, and supporting the transport team to achieve departmental and company goals.
  • Monitoring driver performance, CPC compliance, training, and tachograph data.
  • Analysing KPIs and reports to drive improvements in performance, cost control, and customer satisfaction.
  • Planning distribution routes to maximise efficiency and meet customer requirements.
  • Building strong relationships with senior management, internal departments, and external customers.
  • Overseeing the day-to-day transport operation, ensuring compliance with legal and statutory requirements.

  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of transport legislation and compliance requirements.
