EMIS Senior Analyst

Description

• Serve as subject‑matter expert for EHS system administration and client project execution.
• Administer core EMIS platforms such as Cority, Enablon, Intelex, and Velocity.
• Integrate specialized data and metrics into the EMIS environment.
• Analyze EHS&S data with Power BI or Tableau to assess hazards and emerging risks.
• Build dashboards and reports that deliver insights to senior leadership and ensure OSHA/EPA compliance.
• Design, configure, migrate data, and conduct quality assurance for client software implementations.
• Collaborate with EH&S managers, operations, and IT to align system use with business needs.
• Create and deliver training material for internal and client users on system functionality and safe work practices.

Requirements

APTIM seeks a senior analyst with deep EHS expertise to manage and enhance its Environmental, Health, Safety, and Sustainability (EHS&S) information systems (EMIS) platform and client applications. The role blends system administration, data analysis, and project management to ensure regulatory compliance, drive safety outcomes, and support software implementations for clients. The analyst will act as a subject‑matter expert, collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to deliver effective EHS solutions.

• Hold a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, occupational health, engineering, or a related technical field.
• Possess 8+ years of EHS/EMIS experience, including 4+ years leading EHS information system deployments.
• Hold CIH, CSP, or CHMM certification (preferred).
• Demonstrate proficiency with EHS platforms (Cority, Enablon, Intelex, Sphera, VelocityEHS).
• Expertise in SQL, advanced Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).
• Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills for presenting complex data to leadership.
• Ability to travel up to 30% and multilingual capability (Spanish, French, Arabic) a plus.

The senior analyst position offers a base salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, adjusted for experience, education, skills, and location.
