The position is responsible for creating technical content for engine and system publications that support maintenance activities. It involves producing technical manuals and 3D interactive documents, ensuring they meet Rolls‑Royce guidelines and market requirements across APAC.
Key duties include analysing documentation needs for the APAC market, evaluating business unit orders, and developing and approving technical publications for OEMs, commissioning sites and customers. The role coordinates the creation of QL manuals with external partners in India, Singapore, China and Japan, conducts quality checks, works with cross‑functional teams, and maintains style guides for multimedia content.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in mechanical, automotive, electrical or automation engineering and have 5‑7 years of experience in technical publications, including at least five years of technical writing in a CMS. Proficiency with tools such as SAP, Windchill, Creo and any CMS, plus the ability to produce multimedia content under tight timelines, is required.
Preferred qualifications include knowledge of diesel and gas engines, hands‑on experience with 3D manual and animation creation, and strong organisational and communication skills.
