EPC Estimator (Wind, Solar, BESS)

Estimate and propose electrical, wind, solar, and BESS EPC projects.

Tasks

-Estimate, prepare and assign resources such as manpower materials, consumables, equipment, tools, etc., required for all electrical and related works prior to execution -Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met daily for all electrical groups at site -Ensure that all work done is in accordance with the approved construction drawings, contract documents, project speculations, and all applicable standards -Interpret construction drawings and study the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any job -Plan and analyze all possible construction methodologies and recommend the best option to the Asst. Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site -Manage directly and provide engineering and technical support to all the electrical work groups at site -Prepare budget for project by properly categorizing costs and monitor those costs throughout project life by comparing and adjusting estimating costs vs. actual costs (i.e., production rates, cost of materials, etc.) -Coordinate with Client/Consultant’s representatives for any site instructions and inspection of works

What You Bring

-Strong computer skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, Project and estimating software and database programs -Knowledge of electrical and renewables (wind, solar, BESS) estimation -Degree in Engineering, Construction Estimating or related fields are preferred, but will substitute degree for solid experience -Ability to prepare complex proposals with minimal supervision -Knowledge of HCSS Heavy Bid estimating is preferred but not required
