Key duties include developing engineering designs and drawings from preliminary concepts and specifications, performing calculations with industry‑standard software (e.g., Visual OTTHYMO, PCSWMM, GIS, HEC‑RAS, HEC‑HMS, AutoCAD), preparing profiles, cross‑sections and storm‑drainage systems, and producing technical reports, memos and meeting minutes. The engineer will also develop contract packages, support proposal writing and business development, and coordinate with other disciplines.
The Toronto office is seeking experienced water‑resources engineers to carry out studies for roads, bridges and municipal engineering projects. The role involves applying hydrological and hydraulic analysis, flood mapping, water‑balance studies, modeling and low‑impact development design to support municipal road and highway infrastructure.
Candidates must hold a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering (water resources) and be a registered Professional Engineer or EIT with Professional Engineers Ontario. At least five years of water‑resources modeling experience, proficiency in MicroStation, AutoCAD and Civil 3D, and a strong track record in municipal road or highway design are required, along with problem‑solving ability and excellent communication skills.
