As a Technology Strategy Applications Engineer you will report to the Director of Business Development and Technology Strategy for Thermal Management and work closely with the Global Data Center Technical Selling team. Your primary mission is to understand the challenges, constraints, and goals of data‑center designers and to create customized, scalable thermal‑management solutions that enable efficient facility‑water production for heat rejection. The position requires deep expertise in heat transfer, vapor‑compression, and vapor‑absorption systems.
- Minimum 10 years designing mechanical cooling systems such as chillers, chilled water, and storage
- Minimum 5 years designing cooling solutions for data‑center IT equipment
- Strong knowledge of heat transfer, vapor‑compression, and vapor‑absorption systems
- Proven ability to write product specifications and influence decision‑makers
- Experience in strategic planning, marketing, and market research
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Proactive, self‑motivated with strong prospecting and relationship‑building abilities
- Willingness to travel globally as needed
