Procurement Officer

Description

• Lead RFQs/RFPs, conduct technical and commercial evaluations, and negotiate optimal terms
• Manage Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), monitor vendor performance, and ensure timely renewals
• Review and continuously improve procurement processes, controls, and compliance
• Manage multiple procurement categories, ensuring cost efficiency, quality, and timely delivery
• Process purchase requisitions and issue purchase orders and contracts in line with approved budgets
• Analyze annual spend by category and strengthen the vendor base to support business growth
• Source, evaluate, and onboard suppliers for goods, services, and works

Requirements

We are seeking a results-driven Procurement Officer with strong commercial acumen and hands-on experience managing end-to-end procurement activities. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys vendor negotiations, and is passionate about driving value through strategic sourcing and process excellence.

• Experience in education, hospitality, construction, or interiors sectors
• Valid UAE driving license
• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or Engineering
• CIPS certification (preferred)
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills
• High proficiency in MS Office and data analysis
• Ability to work independently and manage priorities under pressure
• 5–8 years of relevant procurement experience
• Strong knowledge of local UAE suppliers and market pricing
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics Supply Chain or equivalent)
