Senior Environmental Psychologist – Workplace Consultancy

Description

As a Senior Environmental Psychologist, you will bridge psychology and design, turning research into actionable strategies that influence how people experience the spaces around them. You will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of consultants and designers from concept through implementation, ensuring that every space we create supports the people who use it

• Represent Foster + Partners at conferences, events, and industry forums
• Translate findings from interviews, surveys, and behavioural mapping into design strategies
• Lead research on workplace behaviour, wellbeing, and neuroarchitecture
• Advise on inclusive, neurodivergent-friendly, and wellbeing-focused environments
• Analyse project briefs and extract key psychological insights
• Collaborate with designers and consultants to implement evidence-based solutions

Requirements

We are looking for a confident communicator and researcher who is passionate about the relationship between people and place

• Knowledge of workplace trends, inclusive design, and neuroarchitecture desirable
• Around 4+ years applying psychological insights to the built environment
• MA in Environmental Psychology, Behavioural Science, or a related field
• Skilled in behavioural research methods, data analysis, and communicating complex ideas
• Collaborative, adaptable, and proactive with strong organisational skills
