Maintain and organize project files within a formal Drawing Management System to ensure data security and version control.
Calculate precise dimensions, elevations, slopes, base loads, and material quantities to ensure design accuracy and safety.
May involve occasional site visits to transmission stations to verify field conditions or perform basic survey tasks.
Produce specialized technical documentation such as isolation/operate drawings, crossing permits, right-of-way permits, and elevation profiles.
Analyze minimal engineering instructions to determine project-specific requirements for drawing layouts.
Apply tools, guides, and standards to all drafting tasks.
Participate in technical committees or working groups to develop new CADD standards, manuals, or block libraries.
Perform rigorous quality checks on drawings to flag conflicting data or non-standard designs for the Engineer or Designer of record.
