During the internship, participants will perform engineering design tasks such as roadway and bridge design under the direction of an experienced Project Manager. They will also be responsible for managing and maintaining project documentation.
Candidates should be pursuing or hold a BS in Civil Engineering, have 0‑2 years of related experience, and possess an EIT certification or be able to obtain one within six months of full‑time hire. Availability for a Summer 2026 internship is required.
The work environment involves exposure to moving mechanical parts, outdoor weather conditions, and typically loud noise levels. Physical duties may require intermittent sitting, walking, standing, bending, climbing, and lifting light equipment up to 20 pounds, as well as occasional work near hazardous equipment and uneven terrain.
