Schedule and ensure that SCI shops are maintaining the flat rate percentage of 75%. Training, motivating, and taking out roadblocks to ensure goal is met.
Holds safety meetings with shop personnel.
Schedules and lines out work orders for shops.
Daily reviews job for quality and problems - revises work schedule accordingly for SCI shops - as needed.
Emergency or Field Repairs - Schedule emergency field repairs for welders.
Oversees Parts Inventory in SCI shop locations. Assures that inventory levels are correct at all times.
Oversees Pool Equipment Operations in SCI shops. Responsible for making sure that all SCI equipment is accounted for at all times. Supervises the check in/check out system to maintain full compliance.
Reports to Fleet Manager any changes needed in stocked items.
Updates the Fleet Manager on crew's needs, progress, etc.

Ability to speak effectively in front of groups.
Understands and maintains vehicle/equipment maintenance schedules in fleet management software. Make sure that the schedules are updated properly, are being used by SCI shop personnel, troubleshooting system, and making any changes or improvements as needed in conjunction with the Fleet Manager. Must know where to pull scheduled service information, put together in the appropriate format and knows how to implement these schedules following SCI procedures and run an accurate database on this information.
Great Computer skills including Microsoft Suite.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
Ability to read and interpret documents: safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, work orders, quotes, etc.
Ability to use basic math skills to compute measurements, timecards, etc.
Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, work orders, etc.
Ability to create necessary fleet reporting spreadsheets.
A positive can-do attitude and openness to trying things new ways.
Prior Service Writing Experience a plus.
Must be organized, multi-tasked oriented, and maintain a neat and safe work environment.
