- Provide expert guidance in USPS compliance.
- Responsible for 10 mailroom employees over 2 shifts.
- Overall quality and on-time production of the mailing dept. meeting and/or exceeding client specifications.
- Address issues and help employees trouble shoot and problem solve.
- Manage all daily operations of the direct mail department including scheduling, quality, support, training, and overall performance of the team.
- Use company technology such as MIS software, email and PC.
- Make sure employees follow quality control practices in accordance with ISO standards.
- Work closely with production depts, customer service, and sales to keep jobs on track.

- Strong employee training and mentoring skills.
- Adaptable and flexible to production changes.
- Hands-on experience of mailroom equipment to assist and help troubleshoot as needed.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Sense of urgency and works well under pressure.
- PC proficient. Working knowledge of PACE software a plus.
- Working knowledge of inserting and inkjet addressing equipment.
- Mailing certifications such as MDP, FSC or EMCM are highly desired.
- Minimum 5 years' mailroom management experience in the direct mail industry.
- Expert knowledge of USPS regulations and compliancy.
