The role includes assisting with facility condition assessments, maintenance planning, vendor management, and administrative tasks while developing professional communication skills for tenant and client interactions. Interns will also support financial reviews, create documentation, streamline event processes, and contribute to the operationalization of smart‑building programs and data‑driven dashboards.
We are seeking a Summer Intern in Facilities Management (June 1 – August 7 2026) in Charlotte, NC. The internship provides exposure to operational excellence in building management, client relationship development, service delivery and the use of smart‑building technology. Interns will work alongside account directors, analysts and other associates to gain hands‑on experience across multiple lines of business.
Candidates must be actively pursuing a bachelor’s degree with 2–3 years completed in business, engineering, facilities management or a related field, possess strong written and verbal communication, and be able to work independently. Technical proficiency in Microsoft Office and an ability to learn building‑management software are required, along with proven project‑management capability and genuine enthusiasm for commercial real estate.
The internship does not include relocation assistance, housing, or visa sponsorship; permanent US work authorization is required.
