The Assistant Engineer (Modelling) role in the SWM Consulting Team focuses on delivering technical support for flood risk, hydraulic and hydrologic modelling projects. The position involves ensuring accurate and efficient project delivery for both internal and external clients.
Key responsibilities include performing hydraulic modelling and flood‑risk studies using industry‑standard software such as Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow, Estry and HEC‑RAS, as well as conducting detailed technical analyses for a variety of projects. A solid background in hydraulic modelling, hydrology, hydraulic design and GIS‑based analytical tools is expected.
- Deliver technical support for flood risk, hydraulic and hydrologic modelling initiatives.
- Execute hydraulic modelling using Flood Modeller Pro, Tuflow, Estry, and HEC‑RAS.
- Perform detailed technical analysis and flood‑risk based studies.
- Collaborate within WSP’s hybrid work environment, leveraging global and local expertise.
- Support health, safety and wellbeing programs and uphold the Zero Harm Vision.
