Senior Mechanical Engineer designing and testing vehicles, aerospace, and automation systems.
-Test designs and oversee complete vehicle engineering and builds. -Design and engineer projects in-house, ensuring high-quality outcomes. -Work on aerospace mechanical and control systems, connected car and vehicle telematics, and large battery systems. -Engage in cross-functional teamwork to deliver exceptional products for clients ranging from startups to Fortune 500 firms. -Collaborate on computer vision and machine learning applications in AgTech and Industrial Automation. -Complete projects efficiently within weeks or months, maintaining high standards of excellence.
-Bachelor's degree in engineering required, Master's or higher preferred. -Experience with sheet metal, GD&T, and new product development. -Experience in planning, managing, and coordinating multidisciplinary engineering efforts. -Minimum of 5 years of direct engineering experience in the automotive industry and/or engineering services. -Formula SAE Team Lead experience preferred. -Generalist involvement in systems-level design with cross-functional team experience. -Ability to multi-task while maintaining quality, timing, and budget constraints. -Past experience in a startup or small business environment. -Strong communication skills to connect with clients and project teams. -Proficiency in mechanical design and SolidWorks.
