Maintain accurate documentation of kitting activities and ensure compliance with company policies
Monitor inventory levels and communicate shortages or discrepancies to procurement or inventory control
Conduct regular audits to ensure kit accuracy and completeness
Review work orders and Bills of Materials (BOMs) to ensure correct components are picked and assembled
Train team members on kitting procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards
Supervise and coordinate kitting associates to meet production schedules and quality standards
Collaborate with production, logistics, and supply chain teams to align kitting operations with broader goals
Use ERP or warehouse management systems to track and manage kitting workflows
Identify process improvements and implement lean practices to reduce waste and increase efficiency
Requirements

Two to four years of experience in kitting, inventory, or warehouse operations
Team oriented with excellent communication skills
High School diploma or equivalent
Must be able to maintain a safe working environment
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems
Ability to trouble shoot and solve problems as they arise
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Prior leadership or supervisory experience strongly preferred
Ability to read and interpret diagrams, BOMs, and instructions
