Promote safe working practices and ensure the compliance of the approved method of work & Task brief
Ensure effective leadership & supervision of core workforce to achieve high levels of safety, performance, attendance and behavioural standards.
Keeping the Supervisor/Construction Manager constantly updated on site progress.
Attendance at planning / progress meetings as required.
Provide information to planning team to ensure accurate site paperwork can be produced.
Participate in risk assessments and put in place adequate control measures when required.
Test work to SMTH and assist with SWTH where required.
Ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed/briefed to the site teams and brought back at the depot in a timely manner.
Lead and direct a team/teams with signal installation activities.
Ensure that standards of tidiness are maintained at lineside, in offices and cabins in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act and instructions during work and on completion of work.
Participate in reviewing/preparation of resource schedules, methodology, WPP and Task Briefings.
