The Commercial Account Manager (CAM) serves as the public face of BMS CAT within a defined market, cultivating relationships with facility managers, building engineers, property management firms, ownership groups, and leaders across verticals such as hospitality, retail, high‑rise corporate real estate, government, education, healthcare, and multi‑family senior living.
Key responsibilities include developing and executing a territory growth plan, prospecting and scheduling meetings with commercial and national accounts, identifying regional and national opportunities, and tracking marketing activity. The CAM also strengthens long‑term client relationships, attends on‑site meetings, walkthroughs, presentations, and industry events, and maintains visibility within industry associations. Internally, the CAM partners with marketing for tradeshows, assists with collections when needed, keeps Salesforce updated, manages reporting, and communicates effectively even in high‑stress emergencies.
Ideal candidates are strong communicators—verbally, in writing, and in presentations—and are relationship‑driven, personable, detail‑oriented, and organized. They are confident presenting to both individuals and large groups, self‑motivated, capable of working independently, and able to lead or collaborate as required. Business development or account‑management experience is preferred but not mandatory.
BMS CAT offers a competitive base salary ranging from $85,000 to $100,000 plus uncapped incentives, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes 100% paid medical, dental, vision, and pet insurance, generous PTO and holidays, a 401(k) plan, car allowance, fuel card, expense account, and technology tools such as a laptop and smartphone. Employees also receive a full sales toolkit, national resources, and ongoing training to support a long‑term, high‑earning career.
