Description

• Support commissioning and set‑up of plant machinery.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues on automated equipment and implement solutions.
• Identify potential future problems and recommend preventative strategies.
• Document maintenance activities and produce detailed service records.

Requirements

The Maintenance Technician reports to the Maintenance Manager and joins a high‑performance maintenance team in Etobicoke and Mississauga. This full‑time permanent role involves routine maintenance, ad‑hoc repairs, and troubleshooting of factory machinery in a fast‑paced, highly technical environment. The ideal candidate is solution‑oriented, experienced with automated manufacturing equipment, and committed to minimizing downtime.

• Post‑secondary Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical/Electromechanical Engineering Technology.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience maintaining complex automated machinery.
• Knowledge of installation, maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Strong judgment, problem‑solving, stress‑management, collaboration and communication skills.
• High professionalism, integrity and ethical conduct.
• Experience with HOMAG and Weinmann equipment.
• Experience with KUKA robotics equipment.

Benefits
