The Customer Care Representative reports to the Showroom Manager and works full‑time in the Hartford branch. This non‑exempt role supports the showroom’s customer service operations via phone and email. Its primary purpose is to assist customers throughout their buying journey.
Key duties include answering incoming calls promptly, communicating clearly by phone or email, scheduling appointments, and checking order status. The representative also handles stock checks, coordinates deliveries, provides directions to the showroom, and asks probing questions to identify customer needs. They are expected to deliver exceptional service daily, encourage use of the Waterware website, perform pricing calculations or credit‑card transactions, transfer calls efficiently, attend product and service trainings, work Saturdays, and follow the showroom dress code.
The ideal candidate has at least two years of customer‑service experience, strong verbal and written communication abilities, and a high school diploma or GED. Physical tasks involve standing, sitting, using a computer and telephone, and occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds. The role requires clear close‑vision for computer work and the ability to handle light physical effort.
