Learn Siemens safety standards, quality processes, and product fundamentals.
Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT) for live customer projects.
Work side-by-side with Siemens lead engineers at real electrical substations across the U.S.
Interpret 3D models and schematic diagrams to route wiring efficiently.
Load firmware and customer-specific software configurations.
Serve as mentors for incoming PA TDP cohorts, guiding future generations of Siemens technicians.
Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) with customers, ensuring panels meet design and operational standards.
Select their preferred technical area to continue contributing long-term (e.g., Assembly, Quality Testing, or Field Service).
Identify and assemble mechanical and electrical components of Industrial Control Panels.
Inspect and test completed panels prior to shipment.
Perform bench testing and final verification before delivery.
Receive and inspect protective relays arriving from Siemens Germany.

Gain hands-on experience with electrical safety, wire routing and dressing best practices, fiber optic termination and testing, and Ethernet communication testing.
Proficiency in English, including reading, writing, and speaking.
Applicants must be legally authorized for employment within the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization.
Must be able to lift parts or sub-assemblies weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
Learn wire cutting and crimping techniques for high-quality electrical connections.
Demonstrated attention to detail, teamwork, and commitment to safety.
Completed Associates Degree in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Systems Technology, Electronics Engineering Technolog, Electrical Utility and Substation Relay Tech, or related field, from an accredited institution between Spring 2024 and Fall 2025.
