Tasks

-Effectively communicating customer needs to field technicians, the Service Manager, and other relevant parties to ensure personnel are scheduled appropriately based on skill level, efficiency, and training requirements. Additionally, ensuring that all necessary parts are ordered promptly. -Maintaining the daily work schedules for field technicians and matching each available technician to a job based on the technician’s skill level and location. -Informing customers of the progress of service operations while ensuring that technicians operate in a cost-effective fashion. -Reviewing field technician service reports -Ordering and tracking parts and equipment to ensure timely availability and proper inventory management. -Providing logistical support to technicians and communicating with both fellow employees and customers. -Receiving and organizing service calls so that a HVAC technician is dispatched to a variety of locations in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.

We are currently looking for a Service Dispatcher to join our Service team located at our office in Granite City, IL. Our ideal candidate for a Service Dispatcher is someone with 1-3 years of experience in the HVAC industry who possesses strong communication skills, organizational skills, and the ability to work well in a team environment. -1-3 years of dispatch experience or equivalent relevant experience. -Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint). -Decisiveness and willingness to address problems, make requests, and determine the best plan of action for specific jobs. -Proven understanding of HVAC and refrigeration systems and terminology is a plus. -Positive and professional attitude with excellent communication and analytical skills. -Strong attention to administrative detail. -Strong work ethic and ability to instill pride of workmanship in oneself and others. -Detail-oriented and highly organized with the ability to handle multiple tasks and assignments. -Excellent leadership skills to enhance team productivity, uphold work standards, and manage conflicts effectively.
