Electrical Site Manager

Description

The Site Manager role within the Operations department will oversee all on‑site elements of projects for King & Moffatt, ensuring that deliverables are achieved, health and safety standards are met, and coordination between plant hire, tools, labour and subcontractors runs smoothly. The position involves close collaboration with internal planning meetings, external correspondence, and the company's document management and progress reporting systems.

• Deliver on‑site EHSQ compliance, including toolbox talks, RAMS and PPE.
• Secure and maintain all required permits.
• Coordinate plant hire, tools and labour on site.
• Direct and train apprentices for deliveries and daily checks.
• Oversee labour, site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Execute commissioning and close‑out plans, including snag list resolution.
• Manage labour tracking and daily material orders.
• Attend internal K&M planning meetings and handle external correspondence.
• Update progress reports and maintain the K&M Document Management System.
• Produce project‑specific schedules and communicate changes to the project team.
• Report and monitor project quality, testing certification and handover.
• Adhere to all EHSQ policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Qualified electrician.
• Prior experience as a site manager or similar role.
• SMSTS or SSSTS certification.
• Proven ability to manage and lead teams.
• Project management experience (beneficial).
• Computer literacy with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Up‑to‑date manual handling and Safe Pass certification.
