JLL provides professional services in real estate and investment management worldwide.
Daily activities include visiting sites to support Building Surveyor inspections, conducting desktop survey research, helping plan preventative maintenance, coordinating portfolio instructions and handling other reasonable duties as needed.
The Building Surveying Summer Internship is based in Manchester, starts in July 2026 and lasts for six weeks. Interns will work alongside top Building Surveying specialists and gain first‑hand experience in the real‑estate industry.
Candidates must have GCSE English and Maths (C/4 or above), be in their penultimate year of a RICS‑accredited BSc or MSc in Building Surveying, and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Project‑management ability, willingness to travel, a curious mindset, and permanent right to work in the UK are also required.
Exceptional performance during the internship may lead to an invitation to interview for JLL’s graduate scheme the following year. The role offers real work from day one, supporting clients in achieving their ambitions.
The internship is estimated at £12.60 per hour and complies with the Living Wage. Benefits include a supportive culture, wellbeing programmes, Early Careers mentorship, a peer buddy, extensive training, and flexible dress code depending on daily activities.
